Where to dance Forró in Germany
Germany has grown into forró's biggest home in Europe, and its socials stay close to the dance's Northeastern Brazilian roots — accordion-led pé-de-serra sets, close embrace, and rooms where regulars greet each other by name. Berlin's midweek fix is Forró de Quarta on Wednesdays, while Hamburg doubles up on Fridays with Forró im Centro and Forró im HausDrei. Nuremberg ends the work week at Forró Social Dancing im KUNO, Konstanz gathers on Sundays for Forró Tag, and Mondays belong to the practice socials in Duisburg and Aachen. Cologne currently lists the most upcoming dates of any German city. It is a small, community-run circuit rather than a packed calendar — but most weeks there is somewhere in Germany to dance forró.

Forró in Berlin
Forró de Quarta keeps Berlin dancing midweek — the capital's Wednesday forró social.
Forró in Hamburg
Two Friday options in one city: Forró im Centro and Forró im HausDrei.
Forró in Nuremberg
Forró Social Dancing im KUNO opens the weekend with a Friday social.
Forró in Aachen
Forró Social Practice Aachen runs on Mondays — a relaxed start to the dance week.
