The social dance week in Croatia
In Croatia the dancing happens in Zagreb, and the week there has a clear shape: bachata holds two nights, with Bachata Party Utorkom on Tuesdays and Bachata Party Četvrtak on Thursdays sharing the same floor on Grge Tuškana. Sundays split in two directions — the Zouk Sunday Social on Bosutska for Brazilian zouk, and the Salsa Groove Party on Savska cesta, where salsa, bachata and kizomba rotate through the night. Once a month, a Friday Monthly Salsa and Bachata Party rounds out the schedule. The community is compact and regional — dancers cross over from neighboring countries for the bigger nights — and the party names in Croatian (utorkom simply means "on Tuesdays") tell you how local the crowd on the floor is.
Zagreb, Croatia's dance hub
Every listed social in Croatia currently runs in Zagreb — four dance styles across the week, from Tuesday bachata to Sunday zouk.
Bachata twice a week
Bachata Party Utorkom on Tuesdays and Bachata Party Četvrtak on Thursdays — two regular nights on the same Grge Tuškana floor.
Zouk Sunday Social
Zagreb's Brazilian zouk night closes the weekend every Sunday on Bosutska.
Salsa Groove Party
A Sunday social on Savska cesta mixing salsa, bachata and kizomba sets in one night.
Monthly Salsa and Bachata Party
One Friday a month, a bigger salsa-and-bachata night on Ulica grada Vukovara draws dancers from beyond Zagreb.
