Edinburgh's dance week: Latin and forró
Edinburgh runs two parallel scenes on the same nights. At La Belle Angele, Edinburgh Latin Dance holds salsa and bachata socials on Wednesdays and Fridays. A few streets away on Pilrig Street, the forró crowd has its own Forró Wednesdays and Forró Fridays — a rare dedicated forró night for a UK city. So Wednesday and Friday each offer a choice: Latin or forró. Check the listings, and Glasgow or London when you want more floors.
Latin nights at La Belle Angele
Edinburgh Latin Dance runs salsa and bachata socials on Wednesdays and Fridays at La Belle Angele.
Dedicated forró on Pilrig Street
Forró Wednesdays and Forró Fridays give Edinburgh a rare weekly forró home — two nights a week.
Pick your Wednesday (or Friday)
Both nights offer a choice: a Latin floor at La Belle Angele or a forró room on Pilrig Street.
More socials in Glasgow
An hour west, Glasgow runs its own weekly Latin nights — the natural next stop in Scotland.
