Where to dance Forró in United Kingdom
Forró is a small but dedicated circuit across the United Kingdom, with a close-knit weekly rhythm rather than wide coverage. Edinburgh anchors the scene: Forró Wednesdays brings dancers together midweek, and Forró Fridays Edinburgh keeps the close-embrace Brazilian dance going into the weekend. Down south, Forró Fridays gives London its own regular night to spin to the accordion-and-zabumba grooves. These socials draw a mix of newcomers and longtime forrozeiros, so you can show up solo, rotate partners, and learn the gentle two-step feel of the dance on the floor. Whether you are in Scotland or the capital, this is where the UK's forró community meets week after week.
Forró in Edinburgh
Edinburgh carries the UK's forró scene with two regular nights: Forró Wednesdays midweek and Forró Fridays Edinburgh to round off the week with close-embrace Brazilian dancing.
Forró in London
Forró Fridays gives the capital its weekly fix of accordion-driven grooves — a friendly partner-rotation night to dip into the gentle two-step of forró.
