Salsa in Amsterdam plays out across a citywide circuit of Latin nights, most sharing the floor with bachata. Club Out on Lange Leidsedwarsstraat, by Leidseplein, anchors the week with a Latin Night nearly every day. Thursdays add Summer Breeze Latin Nights at Westergas in Westerpark; Fridays spread out to Salsa Social Party, Club Mystique Fridays and Latin Jam Zuidoost over in the Bijlmer; and Saturdays bring Fiesta Latino and Fiesta DeLuxe. The scene reaches well into the metro area — Aalsmeer, Hoofddorp and Almere — so check each party's location before you set out. A one-off, SalsaD'Cuba Party, lands in the centre on 20 September.
