Where to dance Forró in France
Forró in France is a small but dedicated circuit, growing quietly around the Northeastern-Brazilian sound of zabumba, accordion and triangle. The weekly rhythm runs across two cities: Paris anchors it with the Soirée Forró au Café de la Plage on Tuesdays and the open-air Les Kiosques de l'été on summer Sundays, while Bordeaux keeps Mondays moving with Forró Bordeaux. Expect close partner connection, live-music nights and a welcoming crowd happy to walk newcomers through the basic step before the floor fills. Whether you're learning to follow the swing or already chasing the dragged half-step, this is where France's forró dancers gather week to week.
