Why Bailaspot exists
Getting into social dancing as an adult is hard. Part of that is human — walking into a room of strangers, taking someone's hand, letting go of how you think you look. That part is worth it, and it's yours to take.
But there's a second barrier that has nothing to do with courage: simply finding where to dance. Events are scattered across Instagram, Facebook groups and private chats, and a night out can vanish into an hour of searching. Bailaspot exists to remove that second barrier completely — so the only thing between you and the dance floor is showing up.

Once upon a time
Bailaspot started with one person who couldn't picture life without dancing.
I'm Kira, founder of Bailaspot. I've danced since I was a child, and somewhere along the way social dance stopped being a hobby and became the way I live. It gave me friendships, a community that carried me through moving countries, travel, and people I'd never have met otherwise — a whole life, really.
At some point I wanted to give something back with what I know best. I kept seeing the same thing: social dancing changes people's lives, but finding your way in is needlessly difficult — and the most pointless part is just finding the events. So I decided to fix that part. Bailaspot is what came of it.
