Discover Forró, the vibrant social dance and celebration from the northeast of Brazil, at Eden Garden in Mérignac. Starting from 7 PM, enjoy cocktails, tapas, terrace vibes, and music just steps from the Mérignac Centre tram stop. At 8 PM, there will be a beginner-friendly introduction to Forró partner dancing, perfect even if you have never danced before. Come alone, with a partner, or with friends. The evening continues until 11:30 PM with dancing, drinks, conversations, and a chance to meet the Forró Bordeaux community. Often described as the “Brazilian salsa,” Forró combines music, connection, and the joyful spirit of Brazilian culture. The community also organizes regular classes, events, concerts, and the Forró Bordeaux Camp festival across Bordeaux, Mérignac, Talence, and Bègles throughout the week. Beginners are welcome, and trial classes for the 2025/26 season are free.
