A free monthly open-air salsa party on the first Sunday of the month at MAJI Square in Yuanshan, Taipei, under a big canopy that keeps the rain off. DJs play salsa, bachata, merengue and kizomba from 6:30 to 10 pm, hosted by Cyc Chiang. Concrete floor, so wear smooth-soled shoes. Beginners and passers-by welcome.
