Milonga Jueves is Budapest’s Thursday-night Argentine tango social, held every week at Teatrum Bistro on Nagymező utca. Doors are at 20:30 and the dancing runs until 23:30, with resident DJs Endre and Andrea playing traditional tandas. A practica runs from 19:30 to 20:30 just before the milonga for anyone who wants to warm up. Entry is 3000 HUF, or 1500 HUF for students under 21; all levels are welcome and you do not need to bring a partner. In the summer months the milonga moves outdoors to the terrace of the Buda Castle Tunnel.
